Funders As Organizers
In 2023, we shifted from a Steering Committee model to a funder space where we can collectively learn about our places, our grantees, the grantees’ issue areas, and good grantmaking practices. That learning is, then, directly tied to action. For example, when we learn about our grantees, it is with the purpose of driving more funding to them. Or, when we learn about our grantmaking practices, it is to shift funder behavior. The Funder Learning and Organizing Space (FLOS) is a place for collaboration, connection, and community-building between local, regional, and national funders of Amplify Fund.
