The Evolution of Housing and Land Justice 2018-2023

In 2018 and 2019, Amplify Fund worked with local community leaders to create our eight place-based grantmaking strategies. We understood that each place was unique, and our grantmaking approach had to be developed in the local context. As a result of that process, several places identified 'housing justice' as a priority including California, Missouri, Nevada, Puerto Rico, and Tennessee.

Now, six years from our first co-created strategy, we are hosting a discussion on the evolution of housing justice from the perspective of grantees and funders. We will be sharing examples from Nevada and Puerto Rico focusing on what has changed since 2018 and 2019. We will talk about how funding for housing justice has shifted over time. And, we will connect these issues to Amplify Fund's values.
