Co-President, Funder Organizing

Stephanie serves as Co-President of Neighborhood Funders Group alongside Amanda Andere (Co-President, Political Home). In her role as Co-President, Stephanie is focused on expanding NFG’s reach through principled funder organizing efforts that aim to bridge philanthropic and movement strategies. Stephanie, in partnership with Amanda, is responsible for NFG’s vision and strategy to meet the political moment, respond to changes in the philanthropic sector, and center the evolving priorities of movement partners.

Stephanie’s career includes many roles in philanthropy and in direct service supporting unhoused individuals. Most recently, she served as the Chief Strategy Officer at Funders Together for Housing Justice. There, she led the operationalization of a new strategic framework rooted in racial and housing justice, oversaw revenue development and growth, and influenced philanthropy to center people at the sharpest intersections of oppression in their grantmaking.

Stephanie is a co-chair of the DC chapter of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy (AAPIP) and a co-chair of the Cherry Blossom Giving Circle. She has an MPA from The George Washington University and a BA from Trinity College (Hartford, CT). As the daughter of immigrants and her ancestors’ wildest dream, Stephanie is dedicated to fighting for a more just, liberated world rooted in collective care, abundance, and joy.
