We continue to see sinister encroachment on gender justice - from anti-trans legislation and sentiments and attacks on reproductive rights, to disregard of gender based violence and support for survivors. At the same time, community organizers continue to mobilize with a vision of intersectional feminism and justice for impacted communities.

We must continue to cultivate and foster efforts toward gender justice in order to create a world where communities can thrive and self determine. As we rally and assemble support for grassroots organizing efforts, it is imperative to continue to sharpen our lens and frameworks toward an integrated and intersectional understanding of liberation. This includes deepening philanthropy's commitment not only to better understanding the interlocking dimensions of gender oppression, but also resourcing the organizing ecosystem that is seeding the future of gender justice.
