What is the liberated world that philanthropy and movement partners can build together? Neighborhood Funders Group invites you to save the date for Junction, taking place October 27-28 in Durham, North Carolina to explore this question and dream about what is possible.
In NFG’s efforts to activate philanthropy’s resources and influence to build collective power for racial, gender, and economic justice, it is critical for philanthropy and movement partners to intentionally work together toward a shared 50-year liberation journey. Junction is the space we’re creating for this work to happen.
Join us for this two-day convening to dream, practice radical imagination, and be in relationship with funders and movement partners as we build a more just and liberated world.
This convening is not your standard philanthropy gathering. We’re bringing people together to experience wonder and awe, to think about the seeds we must plant and tend to, and to ground ourselves in the work we must do right now. Junction is an event for strategizing with co-conspirators in philanthropy and movement, not just listening to and learning from.
We hope you’ll join NFG this October at Junction and build with us.
Registration is expected to open mid-June. Space is limited so we encourage you to register early.
Please note: Junction is intended for NFG's funder community. To check your foundation's membership status, please reach out to Lauren Goudaeux, Senior Membership Manager at [email protected].
NFG is seeking sponsors for Junction. Considering the political climate and economy and the costs of engaging movement faculty, food and beverage, event space, travel, and safety, our budget for this event is $100,000.
With your organization’s sponsorship, you will help NFG in ensuring that this work is done in true partnership with movement faculty. Your support will help us create a bold space rooted in deep collaboration and long-term strategy to build a better future.
You can review NFG's sponsorship packet to explore the opportunities to support Junction. Please reach out to Manisha Vaze, Vice President of Programs, if you have any questions.
