Elizabeth “Lili” Velez

Lili has 20 years of experience working on building the internal capacities of organizations and small-to-medium-sized businesses by centering people and values in strategic management and day-to-day operations. Recently, she served as Director of Finance and Operations at Narrative Initiative where she helped support a leadership transition, and implement systems to support both rapid growth. Prior to her work in the nonprofit sector, Lili focused on restructuring financially stagnant small businesses, helping them turn a profit, and be more diligently engaged in the strategic and tactical facets of their business. She is a proud Harforican, and currently lives in Brooklyn with her family.
