In times like these, the Midwest must invest in infrastructure that sustains and grows community organizing across the region. We invite you to a virtual funders briefing to explore how the Community Learning Partnership (CLP) is creating long-term pathways into community change careers for youth from historically underserved communities. In a region rich with bold, grassroots action, CLP participants in states like Michigan, Minnesota, and Illinois are gaining experience stepping into roles to increase community power.

This is about more than programs. It’s about building dynamic, educational pathways for skilled, credentialed, politically grounded leaders who can strengthen our community organizing infrastructure locally and regionally. Simply put, these exciting pathways are also about preparing the next generation of historically underserved youth and adults to transform institutions and to create systemic change in their local communities.

You will hear from:

  • Jay Travis, Executive Director, Needmor Fund
  • Rosa M. García, Executive Director, CLP
  • CLP Midwest participants
  • Veronica Herrero, Executive Vice Chancellor, City Colleges of Chicago

We hope you can join us!
