NFG Co-Presidents Amanda Andere and Stephanie Chan have set forth a vision for Neighborhood Funders Group: to be a space for philanthropy and movement leaders to strategize together around a 50-year liberation journey that is aligned around shared values and leans into principled struggle.

NFG’s Junction, hosted October 27-28 in Durham, NC, was designed as an intentional space for philanthropy to engage in the building out what it will take to resource and move this generational work forward. So what comes next?

In this funder call, we will debrief the conversations and takeaways from Junction and explore what NFG is building to continue to bring philanthropy and movement together around a 50-year liberation journey. Participants will also have the opportunity to share their ideas and ask questions about the “what’s next” for philanthropy in the future-building work. This call is open to funders who were not able to join us in person and those who attended Junction and want to continue the conversations.

Please note: To create intentional spaces for candid conversation within our funder community, this call is intended for funders, philanthropic staff, and philanthropy-infrastructure organizations (PIOs).
