Real Talk: Strategies for Fund Housing Justice

Democratizing Development Program

NFG's Democratizing Development Program (DDP) invites you to join us on Thursday, August 6, 2026 for a funders-only strategy session on the shifting landscape for housing justice funding.

During this call, we’ll gather to deepen collective analysis among foundation staff at all levels of experience and expertise on gentrification and displacement, identify intersectional approaches that protect, preserve, and produce affordable housing, and highlight actions that create long-term benefits for residents to self-determine their communities. Participants will hear from fellow practitioners from the Cypress Fund and The James Irvine Foundation share their practice in resourcing a future where residents self-determine their housing and community’s development.
